Enjoy the autumn events
The Roc d'Azur
The Roc d'Azur is THE meeting place for mountain bike enthusiasts!
At the first edition in 1984, 7 participants competed.
Since then, no less than 20,000 mountain bikers, 300 exhibitors, and 150,000 visitors, both amateur and curious, have come to the event. Whether you have strong calves or not, this is a must: don't miss the largest mountain bike gathering in the world every year in early October.
DiscoverThe International Air Festival in Fréjus
If your childish soul is sometimes drowned under the everyday life, you will easily find it at the end of a kite! At the end of October the Base-Nature in Fréjus organises its traditional international air festival: look up, it's a real aerial ballet on more than 120 hectares. Demonstrations for young and old, workshops and animations around the air: inflatable games for children, storm simulator and ephemeral shops related to the wind, embark on a universe that ... blows your mind :D
DiscoverThe Spartan Race
The Spartan Race, the world's leading obstacle race, has chosen the Estérel Côte d'Azur as its new home in 2021! The Estérel Côte d'Azur territory has therefore added its name to the calendar of the 7 French races! The appointment is made for October 2nd and 3rd 2021: a new circuit awaits you next to the mythical Débarquement beach at Dramont in Saint-Raphaël, and it will take you all the way to the ochre bowels of the Estérel Massif... strap on your trainers! Our vertiginous landscapes have many surprises in store for you!
DiscoverThe Chalk Festival
Every year, the town of Saint-Raphaël is decked out in beautiful pastel colours during the Chalk Festival. Hundreds of pieces of chalk are distributed free of charge to young and old alike, without age limit, twice a year: in the summer and in the autumn.
For a moment, everyone becomes a street artist, and the boundaries between the works of the general public and those of professional urban artists are erased!
The ground is coloured with creations performed by all kinds of profiles, without competition or judgement: the atmosphere is good-natured!
