The coffee smokes in the thermos, you throw an icy jet of water on your face to give you courage... It is still dark but this morning awakening will be worth it! Mont-Vinaigre, the peak of the Esterel massif, rises to 614 m above sea level overlooking the town of Fréjus, and offers you a breathtaking view of the bay of Cannes, Fréjus and Saint-Tropez in the distance.

DiscoverIn summer the sun rises around 6am at Mont Vinaigre, and in winter around 7:30am/8am, make sure you know before you leave, it would be a shame to miss this beautiful show!
Put on a good pair of shoes, take a warm outfit and some light. A good breakfast at the top while enjoying the sunrise can be a great way to impress your better half or simply reward yourself for this early morning ascent!
At dawn, you will discover a completely different universe. The sounds of the forest are multiplied: the birds are having a great time! If you are lucky, you may see a fox or rabbits. They are more likely to approach the trails at times when there is no passage.
The first glimmers are already magnificent. The sky begins to look like an orange veil announcing the arrival of the sun. In the distance, the Mont-Vinaigre tower stands out in the sky. That's where we're going!
After approximately 50 minutes of walking, we finally reach the summit just in time to attend a unique moment. Lulled by the sounds of nature, we admire the sunrise and the magnificent colours it produces. An experience of great serenity that we highly recommend! Let's watch the video:

Les Adrets de l'Estérel is a small town located at the extreme southeastern Var. Bordering the Maritimes Alpes, it is composed of large green forests. The town overlooks the bay of Cannes and has an exceptional view on the Lérins Islands and the Corniche de l'Estérel.
Puget sur Argens is a small village located in the middle of many wineries. Its commercial area, near the village, includes many shopping center. North of the village, the Bois du Defens give rise to several walks.
