Beach of Esclamandes at Saint-Aygulf

The aerial views are simply magnificent! With its back to the Ponds and Villepey, the palm-fringed beach at Saint-Aygulf stretches over 800 metres of fine golden sand. The coves are defined by artificial dykes of grey rocks emerging from the turquoise waters. Thanks to the shallowness of the water over a long distance, families congregate mainly on the part closest to the town centre, while kite-surfers and naturists share the other areas. The sand here is cleaned and raked daily. Swimming is supervised from June to September, with several lifeguard posts in place.
