Description
A grandiose circuit from the summit of Mont Lachens, the highest peak in the Var (1,715m) to the Garonnette San Peïre in Les Issambres.
8.30am - La Roque de l'Espadon: the start of the 100km race is planned.
A 94km mountain bike ride of which 11 are asphalt and 83 are trails, paths and forest tracks.
In one day, the objective is to allow mountain bikers to discover the North-South crossing of the Var in all its geological and botanical diversity. The route offers an overall view of: the pre-Alpine massif, the Estérel massif, the Argens plain, the Maures massif and the Mediterranean Sea.
The profits of this day are used to finance several solidarity actions, in France and abroad (hydraulic and school sector).
This is a supervised and safe mountain bike ride, at a free pace, on a fully signposted route. It is aimed at experienced mountain bikers who are completely self-sufficient (on tracks, GR trails, stabilised stony paths).
This event is not a competition, participants must respect the highway code (8 road crossings are on the course).
A shorter hike starts at 10:30 am from Seillans.
