

Historical Comics Festival
A must-attend annual event, the 5th Historical Comic Book Festival in Roquebrune-sur-Argens will take place on June 14 and 15, 2025, at Place des Félibres. This festival brings together enthusiasts and fans of these works, along with 12 international authors.

Description
Imaginary or historical. From Superman to Don Quixote. Comics have demonstrated over the years their ability to cover all subjects. Laughter, wonder, dreams, etc., the comic book world arouses a multitude of emotions. For two days, the Roquebrune-sur-Argens historical comics festival brings together enthusiasts and fans of these works as well as 12 international authors.
On the program for these 2 days of festival:
- dedications of comics by the authors: only albums purchased on site from the Charlemagne bookstore or from the authors.
- official release of volume 4 of the historical comic strip by Roquebrune
- exceptional exhibition of military vehicles (39-45) and presence of soldiers in period clothing
- screening of a film on the landing of Provence
- exhibition by Roger Brunel on his “comics lesson by Franquin”
