PROGRAMME DE L'EXCURSION GROUPE

10h - L’HISTOIRE DU DÉBARQUEMENT DE PROVENCE
Partez sur les traces d’un épisode méconnu de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale... Le Débarquement de Provence. Découvrez l’histoire de ces 20 000 GI’s qui débarquèrent au Dramont le 15 Août 1944, ainsi que les évènements ayant précédés le Jour J. L’itinéraire vous emmènera également découvrir les anciennes carrières du Dramont et vous dévoilera l’histoire insolite de l’île d’Or et sa tour construite en 1913

12h30 - DÉJEUNER DANS UN RESTAURANT DE SAINT-RAPHAEL

14h30 – VISITE LIBRE DU MUSÉE DES TROUPES DE MARINE
Entre exposition permanente et temporaire, le Musée des troupes de marine vous invite à découvrir l’histoire de ces soldats hors du commun, engagés depuis quatre siècles sur tous les continents au nom de la France. Totalement rénové, le musée dévoile une sélection insolite d’objets : uniforme, armement, équipements, souvenirs, drapeaux, œuvres d’art, médailles....
