C'est une randonnée à allure libre, hors chronométrage ou esprit de compétition, conviviale, un vrai challenge sportif quand même, répartie en plusieurs parcours qui s'enchevêtrent au choix des participants selon l'envie et la forme du moment : à chacun son BREST.
C'est aussi une manifestation qui doit être un modèle de respect de l'environnement exceptionnel et très protégé dans lequel elle se déroule, discrète, afin de réduire au maximum l'impact sur le milieu, ce qui permet ( encore ... ) de parcourir des sentiers inédits.

> Le BREST de référence, environ 34,5 km et +/- 1680 m de dénivellation
> Le BREST Cool, pour les moins sportifs et les plus jeunes environ 23.5 km et +/- 960 m
> Le Super BREST pour les plus costauds, environ 44,5 km et +/- 2050 m
La participation pour un majeur est de 20,00€, et gratuite pour un mineur au jour de l'épreuve
